Technical Features

3 channel amp: Clean, LoGain and HiGain (4 x 12AX7 and 2 x 12AT7 tubes)

50 Watt output power, powertubes 2x EL34, "Mercury Magnetics Tone Clone" output transformer

The Preamp-Channels

All channels share a common equalizer with treble-mid-bass control.

HiGain channel has a dedicated pre-EQ (treble-mid-bass).

Bright-switches for Clean und LoGain channels.

All channels provide a different top end regarding higher frequencies:

  • Clean delivers a full but tight bottom end tone with shimmering top end sparkle.
  • LoGain is just a bit darker and provides the saught after "brown sound".
  • HiGain delivers less treble, just right for those creamy, sustaining lead tones.

Two mid boosts are available:

  • One common mid-boost affecting all 3 channels to give that extra "bark" sometimes needed.
  • A separate midboost for the HiGain channel emphasizes the creamy leadtones to get those desired sweetspots.

The Master Volume arrangement

Clean channel operates without Master Volume.

LoGain channel can be operated with or without Master Volume.

HiGain channel can only be used with Master Volume.

The gain channels provide 2 switchable (via footswitch) Master Volume Levels. Alternatively (via push-pull pot switch located at the frontpanel) a "Split-Master-Mode" can be selected to provide one individual Master Volume per each gain channel.

Integrated Power Attenuator to reduce output power.

The Power Attenuator is pre-configured, foot-switchable and reduces the output power typically down to 25 %.

Therefore all sounds (including Clean) are available in 2 Volume Levels - in other words a second solo boost is provided. The Power Attenuator can be disabled for the Clean channel for those who need more headroom when playing clean.

The Footswitch

The footswitch provides roadworthy construction and clear functionality.

The first two switches from left are activating all 3 channels (On = LED on):

1st switch off;2nd switch off : Clean channel

Note: 1st switch off;2nd switch on = no change Clean Channel

1st switch on;2nd switch off : LoGain Channel

1st switch on;2nd switch on : HiGain Channel

3rd switch toggles between the 2 Master Volume Pots

(except Clean channel = no Master Volume)

4th switch switches internal power soak on/off

(can be disabled on rear panel for Clean channel)

Other Features

Switchable Noise Gate for the HiGain channel to perform well in the most critical situations, like recording studio etc.

For "Spongy Sound" lovers who need the tube rectifier sag, we have made this switchable option. In this "Soft Mode" a typical tube rectifier sag is emulated without the problems, that a real tube rectifier can cause like power loss or mushy tones.

Setting the amp into "Soft Mode" sustaining tones are more predominant and powertube distortion is becoming even creamier and therefore playing the instrument is even more fun.

Tube driven Accutronics spring reverb. 2 Reverb controls are available: Clean Reverb level and 1 level for both Gain channels together.

Fully tube buffered FX-Loop with separate volume controls for Send and Return.

The Fx-Loop can be operated in serial or parallel mode.

Spring Reverb and Fx-Loop are each operated by one 12AT7 tube.

The amp is cooled via an extremely low noise fan.

The amp cabinet is made of fingerjoined Baltic-Birch-Multiplex.

Dimensions: 560 x 290 x 240 mm, Weight approx. 19Kg

Any tolex and griclloth combinations are possible.
