Two-Tone-Sunburst Schecter Stratocaster®-Copy U.S.-made
built 1978, bought 2nd hand in 1982, slightly modified, approx. 3.25k
- Body:
- One piece of medium light ash (no swamp ash) with beautiful grain pattern
- Very slim shaping like all the early Schecter Strats built in Van Nuys/California by Dave Schecter's Crew in the early days of the worlds first real Customshop....Dave Schecter himself is still busy producing great pickups
- Neck:
- 21 frets, one-piece flamed maple with medium fat V-shape and very flat fretboard-radius for great string action
- Refret with medium Gibson® Jumbo frets back in 1988 by Ralf Wenzel (Thank You!), formerly it had very thin vintage-style frets
- Hardware:
- gold-plated hardware
- dual-line Kluson tuners, 1954-style round stringtree
- Brass nut
- no tremolo, but hardtail Stratocaster® bridge, strings through body like a Telecaster®
- Electronics:
- EMG® SA-Pickup-Set (built 1989) , Volume, Master-Tone-Pot, EMG-SPC® MidBoost-Pot ... I definitely love these Pickups!
