Marshall JTM 45 MKII Head 45W Reissue Built 1999 modded 2004

  • 4 * 12AX7 (1 tube was added), 2 * EL34, GZ34
  • Gain Stages and Controls (all channels share one common tone stack)
    • 3 channel (by footswitch)
      • 1st channel: Classic Fender Clean tone, bright, twangy and very smooth (2 tube stages), a little hotter than usual, Marshall Tone Stack, no Master Vol
      • 2nd channel: Plexi Tone, 3 gain stages, Marshall Tone Stack, no Master Vol.
      • 3rd channel: lead, Marshall high gain tone, dedicated tone stack for this channel only (single knob use here but usually separated treble/bass), 4 gain stages with dedicated Master Vol.
    • Controls: Ch1 (Clean): Vol, Ch2 (Plexi): Vol, Ch3: Gain, Tone (Thin/Thick), Master Vol, Common: Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, FX Send/Return, Speaker 4/8/16 Ohms Selector
  • Power Amp: Fixed Bias, 45 Watts
  • Tube / MosFet buffered FX Loop, mainly for Reverb (Nanoverb from Alesis)
  • Printed Circuit Board due to complexity

Please note how much Fender-like the clean channel sounds. Very amazing for a pair of EL34's. Some credit obviously goes to the speakers, the Naylor is really good to bring out the Fender tone.
